I lost a friend to cancer.
I just found out that my old coworker and friend passed away yesterday morning from cancer. She was such a wonderful person and taught me so much about being a strong woman. I am still taking her advice about dating and picking people who are not right for me. She always used to say “Get rid of the gym shoe and wait for that Gucci loafer”. In other words, wait for that person who will treat you right and love you unconditionally. DON’T SETTLE!!!!!
RIP Gloria. You will be missed.
